7th Annual Cornerstone Golf Classic Presented by One Community Church

Join us for our 7th Annual Cornerstone Golf Classic on October 23rd at Stonebridge Ranch Dye Course. Registration starts at 11:00 with a shot gun start at 12:00. For questions, email golf@cornerstonenct.org Cornerstone meets our Neighbors (or clients) where they are in their cycle of need and walks along side them as they break their patterns. Typically, Cornerstone’s Neighbors are stuck in a generational cycle of poverty or need temporary assistance to avoid falling into that cycle. By partnering with individuals, businesses, and other organizations, Cornerstone is able to provide the coaching and resources to help families exit the cycle of poverty once and for all. Current services include case management, emergency food, financial assistance (including bills, car payments, school lunch accounts, etc.), clothing and household items, job training and placement help, budgeting and computer skills. Cornerstone has also partnered with local practices to provide health, vision, and dental care. The approach of walking alongside families, teaching them skills, and providing resources is a key component of Cornerstone. Simply providing emergency assistance or a backpack with school supplies is a temporary solution, but doesn't move a family forward or provide a lasting solution. Combining multiple programs to build a comprehensive plan for individual families allows each to get to a place where they no longer need assistance, and are strong, contributing members of the community.
