    Alright, Enough about Us... Who are We Looking For?

    • We’re looking for a Full-Time Senior Credit Dispute Processor who has experience in a customer-focused/deadline-driven/high-energy environment, and who can provide courteous, friendly and professional assistance to their team, and our membership.
    • Our ideal candidate will make anywhere between $21.60 – $22.80 an hour for this position and will follow a Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. work schedule.
    • How about the opportunity to take advantage of a $2,500.00 sign-on bonus for this position? Your ITCU title will allow you to do just that.

    What about the Duties & Responsibilities?
    The Senior Credit Dispute Processor will work in our Lending department and provide the following as part of their responsibilities:
    • Process disputes sent directly to the Credit Union from a member. Conduct an investigation and review all relevant information stored in our core system and provided by the credit reporting agencies within 30 days of receiving the dispute.
    • Process disputes through the credit dispute system within the timelines given from the credit reporting agencies. Conduct an investigation and review all relevant information stored in our core system and provided by the credit reporting agencies within 30 days of receiving the dispute.
    • Process block notifications from the credit dispute system within 30 days of receiving the request.
    • Review the rejection reports from the credit bureau agencies to determine why the tradeline will not post to the member’s credit bureau.
    • Process employee loan requests for vehicle and personal loans. Sell auxiliary products including GAP, warranty and Payment Protection.
    • Maintain current Credit Union loans by making any post funding corrections to the loan including interest rate corrections, payment corrections, term corrections and adding distributions for automatic payments.
    • Audit and scan loan files into the optical system.
    • Process skip-a-payment requests in a timely manner.

    • Equivalent to a high school education.
    • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required.
    • At least two to five years of similar or related experience or financial experience.

    Required Knowledge:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money laundering rules required.
    Other Skills:
    • 10-key calculator.
    • Typing and data entry.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production oriented environment.
    • Ability to adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures to achieve credit union goals.
    Salary Description
    $22.80 per hour
