Lee Masonic Lodge #435 located in Prosper, Texas is sponsoring a class to help people study for and pass the FCC licensing requirements to become a licensed Amateur Radio Technicians Class station.
Currently the test has a question pool consisting of 426 multiple choice questions. The actual test will select 35 multiple choice questions taken from the 426 multiple choice questions. These classes will be intense due to the large amount of material to cover in a short amount of time so come prepared to study hard.
There will be two different classes starting in the same week. A Wednesday night class and a Saturday morning class to make taking the class more convenient. We will post a Wednesday and a Saturday class. Please select which date is best for you and join that class.
The classes are free and we will provide study material by email or a URL for you to download a copy. At the end of the final class you will be given information on testing locations. Before the test, you will be required to complete an application and pay a small application fee of $15.00. You are required to bring two forms of ID to the testing location. More details will be released after the final class.
